FinVo does not sell personal information for money. You can opt out of "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context advertising by enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) or emailing help@finvomoney.org. Your details stay yours - you decide how they are used for advertising.
This page is your control center for opting out of advertising-related sale and sharing of your personal information. It is operated by Fin Vo Money LLC ("FinVo," "we," "us"). FinVo is not a lender and does not make credit decisions.
This notice supplements our App Privacy policy and Privacy Notice. Words like "sell," "share," and "personal information" are used as defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act / CPRA, where applicable).
We do not sell for monetary consideration
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not cash out lists of names, emails, or request data as a standalone product.
Some privacy laws also treat certain disclosures for cross-context advertising as a "sale" or "sharing," even when no money changes hands. This page gives you a clear way to opt out of that kind of use.
What this opt-out covers
When you submit a valid opt-out, we will treat it as a request to halt advertising-related sale and sharing of your personal information, to the extent required by applicable law.
This opt-out does not stop:
- sharing information needed to route your loan request to lenders you ask us to contact;
- service providers who help operate the app (hosting, security, analytics used to run the product);
- communications about your request or account;
- uses required by law, fraud prevention, or security.
How to opt out
You can opt out in either of these ways:
- Global Privacy Control (GPC). Enable GPC in a supporting browser or device. Where we detect a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of sale/sharing for cross-context advertising for that browser or device context, as required by law.
- Email request. Send a message to help@finvomoney.org with the subject line Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Include your name, the email address you use with FinVo, and enough detail for us to locate your records.
We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
Authorized agents
Where state law allows, you may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out on your behalf. We may require proof of authorization and may still need to verify your identity directly. Agents can email help@finvomoney.org with documentation of authority.
Other privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to:
- know what personal information we collect;
- access or obtain a copy of your information;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
- appeal a denied request, where your state law provides an appeal process.
California, Colorado, and residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights. To exercise them, email help@finvomoney.org with the subject line Privacy Request and name your state of residence.
Non-discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights available under applicable law. Opting out of sale/sharing for advertising will not change the core ability to request and compare loan options, except where a feature depends on advertising technology that you have opted out of.
